What's up?!! My name is Tanisha Davis, and I want to tell you a little about
me and my life. I was born in Lubbock Texas, which is in the middle of no
where!! I am currently 20 years but I will be 21 in a couple of weeks. Party
time BABY!!! Dec. 17 to be exact. I live in Shreveport Louisiana with my
fiancé'. I attend LSUS here in Shreveport where I'm majoring in Criminal
Justice and a minor in forensics. I LOVE CSI! I am also a cheerleader for the LSUS Pilots which is really
fun and exciting to do.
I have only been living here for about 3 1/2 years. I moved here from Hawaii. Yes as you can guess my dad was in the military. I have lived in over eight different places. Starting with Germany, Illinois, North Carolina, Georgia, California, Hawaii, Texas, and Louisiana. It is really hard trying to adjust quickly to the different places but I enjoy seeing new things. The longest place that I have ever stayed was in Hawaii which was about 7 years. That was one of my favorite places to live. It was so much to see there, I still don't think I saw it all. For one there was a volcano that was about 30 minutes from where I lived which was cool, if you didn't worry about the lava coming your way. Also there were so many beaches to go too and swim. But I really enjoyed living in Hawaii.
Let me tell you about my family. Its only My mom Carol, and dad Gary, and my little brother Gary Jr. "Mister". I love my family very much and they mean the world to me. My family and I have been through a lot so we are really close. Especially me and my brother. He is my heart and I would do anything for him. He just turned 18 and he is going to Bossier High school, and is a Senior. My parents are separated so my dad is in California launching rockets, and my mom is currently staying here in Bossier city with my brother. She is a Barber working at Master Cuts. Me and my mom are really close and I tell her everything. I would do anything for her and she always helps me out even when she doesn't have too. I respect everything she has done for me and I don't see me living without her. She is my bestest friend and I cherish what we have. We lost my grandma Gertrude Cleveland Parks on June 23, 1997. I just want to say Rest in Peace grandma. We love you and miss you!!

What do I like to do in my spare time?? Well what girl doesn't like shopping. I love to shop doesn't matter where. I also love to dance. I dance all the time which means I love to go to the clubs. I love hanging with my peeps and going out!! I also like to read that's one of my favorite things to do in my past time. When I get real bored and bold I sing in the shower. I swear I think I can make it on American Idol. Anyway I like to spend time with my family and my fiancé Derwinn. He is my heart and I love him to death. We have been together for about 2 1/2 years. We are also engaged for about a year now, and will be getting married on June 13, 2009, which is my grandma's birthday. I am really excited about the wedding, I sometimes think that we are too young but I believe he is my soulmate. He is from Virginia and is 21. He also goes to Lsus with me. We stay together and are always together. We met about 4 years ago. At first we were just friends then after a couple years we got closer. He is my best friend and my road dog. Wherever you see him you see me and vice versa. I can't wait to become Mrs. Tanisha Irene-Gertrude Davis-Walker!! DON'T HATE!!
My goals are to finish school by May 2009 with my bachelors degree. I want to go into the Air Force as an officer and become a paralegal. I have always wanted to go into the military and make a difference. I still want to travel the world and see places I have never seen. I want to also work for a crime lab. I also want to be able to buy my mother a house, and take care of her to where she doesn't have to work anymore. Of course I want to get married and have kids.
